1 Using Famberry

By creating an account or using Famberry, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2 Your Account

You are responsible for keeping your account details and password secure. Please do not share your password with anyone else.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and let us know if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Your account is yours.
You are responsible for activity carried out through your account.

3 Your Family Content

Your family information, photos, videos, documents and other content that you add to Famberry belong to you.

We keep your content private so only the family members you choose to share it with can see it. We do not access or sell any personal family information.

You are responsible for making sure that you have the right to add and share any content that you upload.

You keep ownership of your content.
Famberry does not claim ownership of the information you add to your family tree.

4 Keeping Famberry Safe

Famberry is designed to be a private and secure service. Please help us keep it safe by not using the service in ways that could harm Famberry or other users.

You must not use Famberry to:

break the law or harm other people
upload viruses, malware or other harmful software
try to access another person's account
interfere with the operation or security of Famberry
scrape or automatically collect information from Famberry
send spam or unwanted commercial messages
use Famberry for unauthorised marketing

5 Our Website and Content

Famberry's software, design, branding and other website content are owned by Famberry or our licensors.

You may use Famberry for its intended personal or business purposes, but you must not copy, reproduce, sell, redistribute or commercially exploit our website, software or design without our permission.

You may download or print pages for your own personal use where Famberry provides that functionality.

6 Service Availability

We work hard to keep Famberry secure, reliable and available, but we cannot guarantee that the service will always be available or completely free from errors.

We may occasionally need to carry out maintenance, updates or other work that temporarily affects the service. Where practical, we will try to minimise disruption.

Famberry also relies on internet, hosting and other services provided by third parties. We cannot be responsible for outages or failures outside our reasonable control.

If you have a paid subscription, you are responsible for keeping your payment details and subscription information up to date.

We may suspend or terminate an account if it is used in breach of these Terms, to protect Famberry or other users, or where we are legally required to do so.

Before deleting your account
If you want to keep your family information, make sure you have exported or downloaded anything you need before deleting your account.

8 Our Liability

Famberry is provided on the basis that we cannot guarantee that the service will always be uninterrupted, completely accurate or free from errors.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses caused by events outside our reasonable control or by your inability to use the service.

We are also not responsible for indirect or consequential losses, or losses arising from your use of the service for purposes for which it was not intended.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded.

9 Changes to Famberry and These Terms

We may change or improve Famberry from time to time, including adding, removing or changing features.

We may also update these Terms when necessary. When we make significant changes, we will take reasonable steps to bring them to your attention.

The latest version of these Terms will always apply to your use of Famberry.

10 Law and Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
